Ghanaian casting director and international film professional Mawuko Kuadzi has been appointed to the jury of the 2025 Uganda Film Festival. This prestigious appointment recognizes Kuadzi's significant contributions to the African film industry and his expertise in talent management and casting.  
As a jury member, Kuadzi will play a crucial role in evaluating and selecting outstanding entries across various categories, further pushing the boundaries of cinematic excellence in Africa.  
Kuadzi is the founder of MK Casting, a Ghana-based casting agency known for its work on numerous high-profile film and television projects across the continent. His keen eye for talent and deep understanding of the industry have made him a sought-after casting director in Africa. 
In addition to his jury duties, Kuadzi is also facilitating a masterclass on Strategic Casting & Talent Management at the festival. During this session, he emphasizes the pivotal role casting directors play in the film industry, likening them to the HR professionals responsible for assembling the right talent to bring stories to life.  
The Uganda Film Festival 2025 is set to showcase a diverse array of films from across the continent, celebrating the richness and diversity of African cinema.
