Adekunle Gold Makes History at London Jazz Festival.

Nigerian Afro-fusion star Adekunle Gold is set to make history as he headlines the closing night of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025.

The performance is scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Royal Festival Hall, located within London's Southbank Centre. This marks a significant milestone in Adekunle Gold's career, as he becomes one of the few Nigerian artists to achieve such a feat at this prestigious international festival.

This collaboration promises a unique fusion of Afrobeat rhythms and orchestral arrangements, offering audiences a one-of-a-kind musical experience.  


Adekunle Gold first gained recognition with his single "Sade," a cover of One Direction's "Story of My Life." Since then, he has released five albums, including Gold (which debuted at #7 on the Billboard World Albums Chart), About 30 (shortlisted for the GRAMMY® Best World Album), Afro Pop Vol.

1, Catch Me If You Can, and Tequila Ever After. With over 2.5 billion career streams and hits like "Party No Dey Stop" and "High," Adekunle Gold has solidified his place in the global music scene.  


The EFG London Jazz Festival 2025 runs from November 14 to 23, featuring a diverse lineup of global artists. Adekunle Gold's performance is anticipated to be a highlight, showcasing the rich tapestry of Nigerian music on an international stage.
