Nigerian Afrobeats artist Runtown has announced the upcoming release of his seventh studio album, SoundGod Fest IV, scheduled for June 6, 2025. This album marks the fourth installment in his acclaimed SoundGod Fest series and his first full-length project since 2022's Signs.
Promotion for the album began in December 2024 with the release of the single "Flow," followed by "Do Me" in April 2025. The latter track achieved significant success, peaking at No. 20 on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Songs Chart and marking Runtown's most substantial debut on Spotify Nigeria with 112,000 units sold.
Known for his fusion of Afrobeats, reggae, and dancehall, Runtown has previously delivered hits like "Mad Over You" and "For Life."
Fans anticipate that SoundGod Fest IV will continue this tradition, potentially featuring new collaborations that reflect his pan-African musical vision.
However, recent reports suggest that the album's release has been postponed to June 13, 2025. As the new release date approaches, fans eagerly await the return of the SoundGod to the music scene.
