This certification, awarded by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), signifies over 200,000 units sold, encompassing both sales and streaming equivalents. 
Released on August 22, 2023, as part of Burna Boy's seventh studio album, I Told Them..., "Cheat on Me" showcases a fusion of Afrobeats and UK rap influences. The track samples Kwabs' 2015 song "Cheating on Me" and features production by LiTek, WhYJay, and Jay Blu. Upon its release, the song peaked at number 19 on the UK Singles Chart and secured the top position on the UK Afrobeats Chart .
This Silver certification adds to Burna Boy's growing list of accolades in the UK music scene. Previously, his singles "City Boy," "Last Last," and "Ye" have also received BPI certifications, highlighting his consistent international appeal .
