Water & Garri draws inspiration from Savage's 2021 EP of the same name. The film tells the story of Aisha, a U.S.-based fashion designer who returns to her homeland to confront her past. Savage not only plays the lead role but also co-produced the film alongside Meji Alabi. Shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, the movie features a cast including Mike Afolarin, Andrew Bunting, and Jemima Osunde. Savage also contributed to the film's original soundtrack and served as an executive producer with Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna .
