Kenyan music star Bien-Aimé Baraza, widely known as Bien of award-winning group Sauti Sol, is set to launch his highly anticipated solo album tour across East Africa, with the first stop scheduled for Nairobi this July.
The announcement comes after the massive success of his debut solo project “Alusa Why Are You Topless?”, which showcased Bien’s signature blend of soul, Afro-fusion, and pop, earning him critical acclaim and millions of streams across platforms.
Bien’s East African tour will cover major cities including Kampala, Dar es Salaam, Kigali, and Addis Ababa, as he connects directly with fans and celebrates a new era of musical independence following Sauti Sol’s decision to take a break from group projects.
Speaking in a press release, Bien said, “This tour is a love letter to East Africa. I’m excited to perform this new body of work and connect with fans who’ve supported me from the very beginning.”
The Nairobi kickoff promises an unforgettable live music experience featuring full band performances, immersive visuals, and surprise guest appearances from fellow African stars.
Ticket sales for the Nairobi show will go live next week, with tour dates and venues for other cities to be released soon.
