On Saturday, May 17, 2025, South African DJs Shimza and DJ Merlon delivered electrifying performances at the grand opening of Black Coffee’s residency at Hï Ibiza, captivating a global audience with their dynamic Afro-house sets.  
The event marked the commencement of Black Coffee’s latest season at Hï Ibiza, a venue renowned for its cutting-edge sound and immersive atmosphere. Returning for what is anticipated to be his most immersive season yet, Black Coffee continues to redefine Ibiza Saturdays with his unique blend of Afropolitan house, deep rhythmic structures, and cinematic atmospheres.  
Shimza and Merlon, both prominent figures in the South African music scene, took to the stage and mesmerized the audience with their infectious rhythms and dynamic sets. Their performances, infused with the vibrant spirit of Mzansi, underscored the cultural significance of this Ibiza institution and its dedication to championing Afro-house music on a global scale.

Each artist is set to showcase their unique sound, further establishing Mzansi as a powerhouse in global music.
