Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is making headlines once again, not for his music, but for his extravagant grooming expenses. According to his longtime barber, Kufre Nnah, the award-winning artist now pays as much as ₦2 million per haircut. Kufre, who runs the upscale grooming brand Kayz Place, shared this revelation on his Instagram page, reflecting on his journey with the music icon.
> “I started cutting Davido’s hair when he was just 12 years old, when he used to pay me 200 Naira. Today, he’s paying 2 million for a haircut… what a journey!” Kufre wrote, alongside photos of him trimming Davido’s hair.

He went on to express deep gratitude for Davido’s loyalty over the years.
> “Big thanks to you brother for trusting me all these years. Your success is truly inspiring.”

The heartwarming story has drawn praise online, with fans commending Davido for remaining grounded and loyal to those who supported him before fame.
This isn't the first time Davido's generosity towards his barbers has made news. In 2024, during his wedding preparations, he reportedly paid ₦1.5 million for a special haircut and tipped the barber $1,000.
Davido's commitment to those who've been part of his journey underscores his appreciation for loyalty and long-standing relationships.
